Laritssa P. Cobian, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Cobian, a board certified pediatrician, earned her medical degree from UNPHU School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Cobian is happily married with two children and enjoys spending time with them when not practicing medicine. For Dr. Cobian, motherhood is a vital key in providing a sense of empathy to her patients. “As a mother, I feel better able to listen and understand all the questions parents have about the development of their child or the stress they feel when their child is ill,” she says.

Marcela Jativa, M.D., F.A.A.P.

After attending medical school at Universidad Libre in Cali, Colombia, Dr. Jativa moved on to complete her residency at the Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Pennsylvania. Board certified in pediatrics, she has strong interests in the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity, and provides counseling and management for children with ADD/ADHD and other behavioral conditions. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Jativa enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a physician, and their baby girl. She has also spent time in Honduras aiding the underprivileged on mission trips. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Andrea VanDam P.A.-C.Andrea completed her master's degree in Medical Sciences at Nova Southeastern University's Physician Assistant program in Davie, Florida in 2011. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Florida Department of Health. Andrea has been dedicated to working in Pediatrics since completing her training and joined the team at RDV in 2016. When not at the office, Andrea enjoys spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite activities is spending time with her nieces and exploring the magic of Disney through their eyes.
